The options available for prams and pushchairs can be overwhelming for a new mom and dad buying for the first time.

The market is flooded with countless models of prams and strollers as if to vie with each other to appease every parent’s whims and fancies. Many types of strollers are available for your baby these days:
The most popular stroller for active people who wish to take their baby with them while they jog or run is the jogging stroller, which has larger, smooth-rolling tires that can handle uneven surfaces. Jogging strollers are crafted for many different terrain and conditions. As they are better equipped to deal with the rough ride, and designed to keep the child in place, jogging strollers minimise baby movement.

Double or tandem type strollers serve the purpose of allowing a couple infants to share a stroller. Some mothers choose a double stroller for extra storage area.

Umbrella Strollers offer the most compact and most economical of competing prams and strollers. Umbrella strollers for toddlers are built for everyday use in the city using basic seating materials on a metal frame. These toddler strollers are usually quite simple and are able to fit into small spaces when folded. Umbrella Strollers get their title from their upwardly curving handles which look like those of an umbrella.
Sometimes, especially when travelling, you can do without the bulky pram or stroller and for these times, they are perfect.

Traditional English non-folding baby carriers on wheels are known as prams. They are now frequently known as Baby Carriages Recently, these have become very popular. They are not as reliable as the current strollers on the market, nor are they as space efficient. Therefore their popularity has died out.
