They keep us from having to throw away perfectly good things we can’t us anymore, they allow us to help our community and enable us to find cheap stuff! Certain types of stores purchase your things, such as clothing or electronics like a used computers or game console.Most take it for free, but you can get money back by writing it in on your tax returns. Often you can give broken electronics to places who sell refurbished computers. If you live in an area with a lot of these kinds of stores you should consider yourself very lucky. You can save so much money by shopping at places like these, Especially if you shop thrift stores for clothing. You can come home with a whole new wardrobe for under fifty dollars. At some department stores, a pair of pants costs more than that.

Thrifiting is an art,however, you can’t just do it. You can’t walk into a thrift store and automatically find clothes. If you look hard enough through a seemingly unpromising pile you can find some awesome clothing. You just have to go one a day where you have time to search and the energy. You also have to think creatively. Accessories are key when you buy clothes from thrift stores as well. Something ugly can be turned into something beautiful.
If you aren’t cut out for thrift store shopping, go to stores like play-dos closet where they buy brand name and stylish clothing and sell it at very low prices. You will find clothes at a fraction of their normal prices. A pair of jeans for fifty at store price will probably cost around ten to fifteen dollars! Also, these stores will pay you for your old clothing. They can be very selective, but on a good day you can make up to thirty dollars. They are most interested in jeans, so if you have jeans that still look good but don’t fit, try selling them. You can take the money in cash or turn around and buy some clothes in the store.

Another product at these stores that is good to buy is furniture. You can find couches, stools and chairs for unbelievably cheap prices. Instead of buying brand new chairs,save hundreds by reupholstering used ones. Also, you can find really eccentric and unique decorations at thrift stores. If you are into weird fun and funky items, I strongly advise shopping at thrift stores. It is so funny how odd of things people give away.

Nothing exhibits the old parody one mans trash is another mans treasure better than thrift stores. Something one person doesn’t need or use anymore can be so useful to someone else. Buying used items save a lot of money. If you put the effort out to shop at thrift stores, it will save you lots of money
