Selecting a Discount Designer Handbag for Beauty and Usability

The purse! The albatross of today’s woman. How can we get along without one? It’s always hanging from your arm or pulling down your shoulder. But we always carry one, don’t we? If you’re stylish but cost conscious, you have a yen for Discount Designer Handbags, particularly Fendi Replica Handbags or Gucci Replica Handbags. If they are good replicas, who will know they are not the real thing?

Since we’re stuck carrying a purse, we should think about what makes a purse the best it can be. Of course, style is number one for most women. While I, personally, think all purses are by definition ugly, some are less ugly than others. With a replica of a designer handbag, we take on the style sense of the designer. And, as we walk in public, the people we see will automatically see this style sense in us. We show off our Fendi or Gucci, so we know what’s in today.

The next characteristic after style is convenience. The solution to the convenience problem is pockets, pockets, pockets! Pockets allow you to find your stuff quickly. You need a pocket for your cell phone. Another for your reading glasses or sunglasses. A third for cosmetics. Still another for little things like coupons, cough drops, and wet wipes. Finally, the most important pocket: the one for your keys. Keys seem to sink immediately to the bottom of the purse like a boulder into the sea as soon as you drop them in. This key problem goes back into the distance past. Remember the song from the early sixties? “And She Can’t Find Her Keys.” So make sure your favorite purse has enough pockets to organize your stuff into easy-to-find places.

Another selection criterion is weight. My reference to the Ancient Mariner’s albatross refers to the weight of the purse. This is an important matter because it’s not just a question of personal comfort. It is also a question of health. A shoulder bag that weighs too much puts a strain on your shoulder muscles. This strain can cause pain, and, since, as I’ve said, we have to carry a purse wherever we go, your shoulder has no chance to heal itself. Switching shoulders may ease the pain for a moment, but, in the end, you just get two sore shoulders. Over time, carrying the purse on the same side may make that shoulder sag, giving you a higher and a lower shoulder. The solution? Choose a handbag with the least weight. And then winnow the purse’s contents on a regular basis. If you don’t need it, take it out. Keep your reading glasses around your neck. Be happy with two lipsticks. Use a small pick instead of a big hairbrush. Keep rarely used keys in the glove compartment.

If you follow these suggestions, you will look stylish but not weighed down like a hiker on a mountaintop. And you will be able to find what you need in an instant.
